Our mission is to awaken, align, and activate a spirit-led revival in the hearts of families by discovering their God-given identity and being transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to awaken, align, and activate a spirit-led revival in the hearts of families by discovering their God-given identity and being transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

AT DESTINY CHURCH,
we believe:

At Destiny Church, we believe and affirm that our foundation is the Lord Jesus Christ, and our calling is to faithfully proclaim the Gospel, disciple believers, and build the Kingdom of God through Spirit-led leadership and biblical truth.

1. The Scriptures

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

2. The Godhead

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal.

3. The Person and Work of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross to atone for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return again in power and glory.

4. Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a gift from God, not by works. Through repentance and faith in the finished work of Christ, individuals are born again and reconciled to God (Ephesians 2:8-9).

5. The Church

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers in Jesus Christ. The local church is an expression of that Body, governed under biblical authority and equipped to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

6. The Lordship of Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church. All matters of faith, governance, and practice are ultimately subject to His Lordship, as represented in this church through the Senior Pastor and Board of Directors (Colossians 1:18).

7. Church Government

We believe that God calls spiritual leaders to equip, oversee, and shepherd the Body. Destiny Church operates under a theocratic form of government, with authority entrusted to the Senior Pastor and Board of Directors. The Senior Pastor, with accountability and counsel from the Board and Accountability Board, leads the church under divine guidance.

8. Lifestyle and Conduct

We believe that all leaders and members are called to live in accordance with biblical standards of holiness and moral conduct. This includes fidelity in marriage, sexual purity, honesty, integrity, and submission to the authority of Scripture in every area of life (Galatians 5:22-23, Romans 12:1-2).

9. The Role of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit to convict, regenerate, empower, guide, and equip believers for godly living and effective service. The gifts of the Spirit are active and available to believers for the building up of the Church (Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:7-11).

10. Ordinances

We believe in and practice two ordinances instituted by Jesus Christ:

Water Baptism: As an outward sign of inward transformation and public confession of faith.

Holy Communion: As a memorial of Christ’s death and a celebration of His life and promise to return.

11. Spiritual Accountability

We affirm the biblical model of accountability, recognizing the role of the Accountability Board to provide counsel, correction, and oversight regarding the spiritual integrity and leadership of the Senior Pastor (Acts 15, 2 Timothy 3:16-17).

12. Sanctity of Life and Marriage

We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. We believe marriage is a holy covenant instituted by God, to be a union between one man and one woman, as taught in Scripture (Genesis 1:27, Matthew 19:4-6).

13. The Mission of the Church

To awaken, align, and activate a spirit-led revival in the hearts of families by discovering their God-given identity and being transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
